Chain Links 14U fell 12-1 to the Savannah Bulldogs on Sunday.

Gunley got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed one run over four innings. Gunley struck out seven, walked none and gave up two hits.

Wade Oliveri ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The game’s last lead went to the Savannah Bulldogs thanks to a first inning rally that saw four runs cross the plate on a two-run double by Crosby and two singles.

Chain Links 14U scored its only run of the game on a groundout by Nick Corwin in the second inning.

The Savannah Bulldogs built upon their lead with eight runs in the third. A clutch scored Crosby to open the scoring in the frame.
